We continued our yearly tradition of attending the State Fair of Texas as a family. As the kids gets older, it becomes less about us and more about seeing it through their eyes.
We started the day with a Ferris wheel ride. Cooper didn't really get it last year, but this year he and Caroline both really enjoyed it! If only I could translate his little baby language to know what he was talking about!
Caroline and Daddy rode one of the carnival rides. She didn't understand the fact that we had to pay per ride instead of it being like Six Flags. And when I say pay, I mean PAY! You can drop some serious dough on this area of the fair!
Coop's favorite part was certainly the petting zoo. He got up close with a giraffe and would have climbed in with the animals if we had let him!
