Rodeo Time!

This last Friday night we went with Nana and Papa to the Fort Worth Stock Show. It is definitely a tradition with our family and it's super special because 10 years ago this year Chris and I went on our first date to the rodeo!
Caroline had such a blast! She did the petting zoo and rode a pony and a ride in the midway!

New boots for Caroline and Cooper- thanks Papa!

Monks at the Stock Show?
She didn't much care for the smell!

Football, Golf and LOST

On Sunday night I went solo to the Gentrys' to watch the AFC championship. Though I love sports, I honestly couldn't care less about who won this game! During half time we started playing golf- this super fun card game we learned at New Years. I didn't win, but it is seriously so fun!!
After the game, we caught up on a little LOST, with Brad Gentry giving us a peak into his infinite wisdom on the series. By the way... the Gentrys' have the most amazing new TV. It took us about 30 minutes to quit commenting on the clarity!

Dinner, Movie and Fondue

We had a really great time on Friday night just hanging out with the girls!! First we went to eat at La Madeleine (R.I.P) in downtown and then headed to see Bride Wars. I think we all loved the movie! It was really special for me to watch with my friend Lindsey since we have been friends since third grade. We had shared so many of the things that the girls in the movie had!
After the movie, Emily jumped on her Iphone and made us a 10:00 reservation for dessert at Simply Fondue. It just opened recently in downtown Fort Worth. It is very urban and very different from the rest of the eateries in the area. We had a fabulous time and I can't wait to do it again!

Update

I've been getting a ton of requests for baby updates, so here we go...

First, when I went to the doctor last time, they confirmed that Cooper is still big, so we began to discuss options. Caroline was big and early, and because I am not a big person and handled induction really well last time, she said we would keep and eye on him over the next weeks. If he looks big and everything (lung, etc.) looks ready, she will induce me at 38 weeks. She said it was up to me and I was thrilled because I am beyond uncomfortable (but never complaining of course...).
That means I have just about 7 weeks left! I am at the really fun phase of being constantly tired, but not ever able to sleep! Chris laughs at me because I will just be sitting there and be breathing so deeply! He has offered to get me oxygen several times lately.
All in all this has all gone by really quickly. I know these next few weeks we will fly by. We are not ready at all! Cooper's room is still an office and I have just a very few boy things. We have some furniture to paint and some furniture to move. We are slowly collecting things for his room as well. We are putting up all kinds of old baseball things. We have a pennant (Sox of course) and an old glove (Chris' grandpa's) from the 1950's. I have been looking around ebay for other goodies.
That's pretty much it! I go to the doctor in a few days, so we'll see what the update is!

Our Ballerina

Our big girl started ballet and tap this Saturday. It was so sweet to see her in a class and all on her own! We could watch through a window and see what was going on. She was so brave and we were so proud!!
